Terms of use
LAST UPDATED: AUGUST 2026
These terms cover two things: how you may use this website, and how the website relates to actual client work. The short version — the site is for information; engagements are governed by their own signed paperwork. By using the site, you accept these terms.
The site is information, not advice
Everything on this website is provided as-is, for general information. It is not professional, legal, financial, or technical advice for your specific situation. Decisions about your business should rest on your own judgment or on an actual engagement — not on a marketing page.
No warranties
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but it comes without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted availability.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, InWright is not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or its content.
Client engagements
Nothing on this site is an offer or a contract. Every client engagement is governed by its own written statement of work: fixed scope, named deliverables, a timeline, and a price. If a statement of work and this page ever disagree, the statement of work wins.
On intellectual property, our position is the one published across this site: clients own everything we build. Code, accounts, and workflows transfer to you on final payment, with no license-back and no lock-in.
Illustrative figures
Figures shown on this site — playbook arithmetic and designed outcomes — are worked examples from reference builds, not quotes, guarantees or client results. Except where a page explicitly presents client work or a client’s own words, no client is described or implied. Your actual numbers are established in the paid blueprint and fixed in the statement of work.
Results other clients report are theirs, not a forecast of yours. Storefront performance depends on your products, pricing, photography and traffic as much as on the build, and we do not promise a revenue or conversion outcome.
Reviews and anything else you submit
If you send us a review, a testimonial or any other comment for publication, you confirm it is your own honest experience as an actual customer, and you give us permission to publish it on this site — in full or shortened for length, with your name as you gave it. We may decline to publish anything, and we remove reviews that are not from a real customer, that identify someone else, or that are abusive or unlawful. Ask us and we will take yours down.
We do not publish incentivised reviews, we do not write reviews about ourselves, and we do not suppress genuine negative ones. Reviews shown on this site are presented as written, including their typos.
Portfolio and client work
Screenshots and examples of stores and systems we have built are shown as work delivered. Every brand, product name, logo and photograph in them belongs to the client it belongs to, and appears here to identify the work rather than to imply any current relationship or endorsement. If you are a client and would rather your store did not appear, tell us and we will remove it.
Shopify, Etsy and other platforms
Shopify is a trademark of Shopify Inc. Etsy is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. InWright is an independent studio: we design and build stores on the Shopify platform and help sellers move onto them, and we are not affiliated with, partnered with, endorsed by, or sponsored by either company. We use both names only to describe the work.
Your Shopify subscription is a separate agreement between you and Shopify, billed by them. Your Etsy shop remains governed by Etsy’s own terms, and how you use customer data obtained through it remains your responsibility as that data’s controller — we will advise on what is permitted, but we do not export or repurpose marketplace customer data on your behalf in breach of a platform’s terms. Fee figures quoted anywhere on this site are the published rates as at the date shown beside them and may change without notice; check the platform’s own fee page before relying on them. The same goes for every other third-party platform, app or theme we work with.
Third-party links
The site links to external sites we don’t control. A link is not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for third-party content or practices.
Our content
The text, diagrams, and design of this site belong to InWright. Read it, quote it with attribution, share links freely — but don’t scrape it, republish it wholesale, or pass it off as your own without written permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [Your jurisdiction], and any dispute over them belongs to the courts of [Your venue].
